Data centers are starting to participate in DR (Demand Response), a technique to reduce its energy consumption at times that utilities provide financial incentives during heavy load periods.
Are data centers ready to be able to implement 7/24 DR (Demand Response) strategies now or in the near future? To reduce loads not only when utilities request, but at all times? Can this be achieved by using both infrastructure and IT assets?
