Steve Sifferman brings to Powerwave Technologies 18 years of experience in the wireless industry. At Powerwave, he leads the Advanced Radio Systems business unit focused on delivering next generation system solutions for 4G networks.
Prior to Powerwave, Steve held a variety of development and senior management roles during his 11-year tenure at ArrayComm, including three years as president. At ArrayComm, Steve led the product development and network deployment of multiple end-to-end wireless systems, and brought to market the most advanced multi-antenna and MIMO solutions for 4G networks.
He has led the development of end-to-end 2G, 3G and 4G wireless systems and has deployed wireless networks in Asia, Africa and the United States. Through various roles at ArrayComm LCC and Powerwave Technologies, Steve has worked extensively with wireless carriers and equipment manufactures around the world.
Steve holds a BSEE and MSCE from Santa Clara University with an emphasis on signal processing, and is on the board of directors of Telecom Industry Association (TIA), chairing the public policy working group.
