Mr. Crews is a co-founder and Managing Director of Stratford Partners, a financial advisory firm exclusively serving the energy industry. At Stratford Partners, he is primarily responsible for providing interim executive management and coaching, market strategy, capital markets, and M&A advisory services to energy industry companies.
Mr. Crews has more than 25 years of experience in the financing and management of venture capital and private equity-backed companies. During his career, Mr. Crews has been directly responsible for raising in excess of $100 million in venture capital and private equity for companies in a variety of industries and at different stages of development. In addition, Mr. Crews has over 20 years experience as a member of the senior management team of venture capital funded companies, including eight years as CEO for three different companies, SynergEyes, Envenergy and Pentech Solutions.
Mr. Crews also has experience in commercial banking and corporate law. Mr. Crews earned his law and MBA degrees from the Ohio State University, and his BA in Business Administration from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio.
